You could expect some bruising, swelling and a very mild pain for the first week or two but medication will be prescribed to minimise this discomfort. Within a day of the surgery you should be up and walking around. You may shower on the second or third day following the surgery but should refrain from lifting heavy objects. Driving is permitted and you may move your arms freely. Stitches will be removed 15 days after surgery.
Capsule Contracture – The formation of a fine, flabby, fibrous lining (capsule) around the implants is normal and occurs in all surgeries. The contraction of this fibrous membrane (capsule) can occur rarely in 2-4% of cases, thus modifying the result.The treatment of capsule contracture requires a new surgery
